Travel advice

How to get to the city of Bath and the University campus.

Government travel guidance

The latest government guidance on travel in England during the coronavirus outbreak.

Face covering rules on campus

There is no longer a legal requirement to wear a face covering, but we recommend students and staff wear face coverings in these situations.

Getting to Bath

Bath has excellent transport links. Bath Spa train station is on the main line between Bristol and London, Bristol Airport is about an hour away and the city is close to the M4 motorway.

Bath Clean Air Zone (CAZ)

A street in Bath

Bath operates a charging Clean Air Zone (CAZ) in the city centre. Check if charges apply to your vehicle before you travel to Bath.

Getting to campus

The best ways to get to our campus from the city centre are by bus, cycling, or walking.

Travel updates

Visit the Campus travel blog for updates on travelling to the University.

Parking

You can drive to the campus but parking is limited so we would always recommend public transport as your first option. The city centre also operates a charging Clean Air Zone (CAZ), so you may be charged for driving through Bath.

Campus accessibility

Accessible routes, toilets, and car parking for Blue Badge holders on our campus.
